What's your accessory pole?

Every set of our mounts holds an accessory pole — a branch hook, pole snips or a pruning saw head — as well as the pole saw itself. Some crews don't run one, so skip this if it's not for you.

Wolfgarten (or similar)

The ~30mm pole with the multi-fit clip end — swaps between snips, hook or saw. Most common, especially in Victoria.

Silky (or other large-diameter)

Up to ~55mm. Needs our premium Yakima "Ace 'O Spades" mount — and it locks, so your snips are secured too.

Premium + lockable

Don't need one — skip

Just the pole saw. You'll still get the accessory pole holder as part of the set, so you're covered if you add one later.

Secure & lockable

Lockable pole saw mounts to suit Stihl or Husqvarna battery or petrol powered models, and Wolfgarten pole snips.

Every set of pole saw holders consists of an A piece (with the saddle for the trigger handle of polesaw) and a B piece (lockable jaw with over-centre clamp for gripping the polesaw driveshaft).

This pole saw mounting brackets are available in Bandit Green, Vermeer/Rayco Yellow, Black or Gal. Custom colours by request

Yakima vs Standard Mount:

Standard mounts will hold a polesaw (any model, battery or petrol powered) AND a Wolfgarten telescoping pole. The Wolfgarten pole is about 30mm diameter and fits into the pipe section of the A piece and held in position by the rubber grip on the B piece.

The Yakima version utilises the Yakima “Ace ‘O Spades” mounts (advertised as shovel mounts online) and accomodate a much larger diameter pole, up to about 55mm. These are our Premium option, better suited to arborists who run a Silky pole for their pole snips/hooks, as they have a tightly bound grip with a larger diameter. Also suitable for mounting any other round handled tool which wouldn’t otherwise fit into the pipe & grip of the Standard pole saw holders.

The Wolfgarten pole does also fit in the Yakima mounts, as it can ratchet down to a very small size, if necessary. They also have the added security of being lockable, so you can lock your polesaw AND your snips/hook.
